Aviation Capital finalizes order for 35 Boeing 737 MAX jets

(Reuters) – Aircraft lessor Aviation Capital Group has finalized an order for 35 Boeing 737 MAX jets, the companies said on Monday.

The statement did not contain more details of the order that consists of 16 737-8 jets and 19 of the larger 737-10 variant.

Including Aviation Capital Group’s 737 MAX order last year, the new purchase takes the lessor’s total orders for the jet to 82.

Aviation Capital Group, a unit of Tokyo Century Corp, specializes in commercial aircraft leasing and provides aircraft asset management services and financing solutions for third parties.
